I went out this morning to the local coffee shop with a friend from Germany.
when we were leaving we noticed a hotel and it had a big sign in Thai.
Wolfgang said, oh its a restaurant and office.
I said can you read Thai ? No, i use translate.
Well OMG….I have never used the app with images.
This is an absolute game changer.
So many businesses only have Thai, so i normally don’t take much notice.

So the picture above is the normal screen in google translate.
I have never before noticed the little camera icon.
Switch the translate to Thai to English and press the picture icon.

Point it at any Thai sign and it instantly translates in English.
Absolutely fantastic
Give it a go and I reckon you will be amazed like me.

I grabbed and invoice in my room that had a Thai address that I cant read.

I used the camera icon as above and you can see the image i got below

I tried it out on my instant noodles.
The cooking instructions are all in Thai.
Worked a treat, full English instructions.
